skalfon asked:

I have heard of schemes like subscription to a weekly “veg box”, local farmers selling direct to the public, cooperatives delivering locally produced vegetables to your home, restaurants sourcing only local products, etc… What are the good schemes in London if I want to eat locally sourced products?

    Hi Sonia,

My neighbours downstairs work for this company, they are really food lovers:=
Essentially French food, I hope you do not mind ;)
Also, I noticed that Ocado had a vegetable selection basket that you can pick starting from £14

We get a weekly box from Abel & Cole:

It’s organically grown, ethically sourced, and local to the UK wherever possible. You can buy specific stuff or just get a mixed box of random stuff in various sizes every week, which is what we do. It’s all very tasty and it’s nice to come home to!

We use Abel and Co. They have been consistantly good, delivery, range of produce and quality. You can choose individual iteams or get a range of fruit and veg delivered weekly, fortnighty ect. I get the box, but add on things every now and then.

I like that they always add interesting things in the box - so you get to test your grey matter as well as stomach muscles.
