Like our Explorer Scout Unit usually takes a camp to london in the summer and we do a thing called the Tube Challenge which is where we have a list of things we have to do using only public transport. Just as an example we would have a challenge like go to a heavily populated tourist spot and get a picture with like 3 polish people and 2 chinese people. Thats an example but we are thinking of doing something different this year. Anyone got any ideas? We were thinking the pube challenge but no not suitable in london.

I’ve surf the web for eurorail, it’s quite expensive for me. I know that from london to amsterdam I can take a train + ferry at a very minimal cost? Is there anything similar to it from paris to london?

A few friends and I are planning a vacation to London, and I was wondering which is the best hotel to stay at. Price doesn’t really matter, and we’re looking for something more upscale and fancy.

I’m planning to move in to London, and I’m looking for a neat and friendly neighbourhood anywhere in the Greater London area up to zones 3 or even 4 (no more than 30 mins to central London). Do you know of a safe and beautiful residential area, maybe next to a park. One of those in which you can give yourself a rest after a full day’s work.

Pluses:
- Nearby tube or train stations.
- Somewhere along the Northern Line would be good.
- Non-expensive flat rental prices, .. which excludes Zone 1 :) I mean .. no more than £175 pw for a studio or one bedroom flat.

Thanks in advance.
